Our Programs at Faith Nursery School are designed to address four categories of learning:

Developing skills that involve small and large muscles help children to explore the environment through active investigation and manipulation. Children develop these skills as they are ready, and they learn from observation, imitation, trial and error, instruction, and direction.
Attitudes are extremely important in early childhood education. Teachers work to strengthen the dispositions of cooperativeness, curiosity, resourcefulness, positive self-image, and respect.
Feelings are at the core of learning. A child with a feeling of belonging, self-worth and acceptance will be free to explore and take risks in learning.

Toddler Program
Any child ages 18-36 months is eligible for our Toddler Program.
Here at Faith Nursery School, our toddlers get to enjoy the large variety of hands-on play materials that are made available to them. There are creative centers set up in the classroom where students can participate in dramatic/imaginative play, arts & crafts as well as sensory play. Students will have access to reading materials, puzzles, blocks, dress-up materials and many more engaging materials.
We offer the tenderness, warmth and patience so essential to this young age. Children feel comfortable and safe in our toddler class setting when their parents leave. Our deep respect for each child ensures that your child will truly love his or her school environment, and from that, develop a long-lasting love for learning.
Throughout the year, we incorporate activities that increase your child’s emotional, social, physical and intellectual skills.
We will focus on:
- Identifying/sorting shapes & colors
- Identifying animals
- The alphabet
- Numbers
- Following instructions/routines
- Controlling and expressing emotions
- Increasing your child’s gross and fine motor skills
Nursery School Program
Any child 36 months through four years’ old after December 1, 2024 is eligible for our Three-Year-Old Program.
Nursery school students spend their days exploring, sharing and learning. Your three-year-old will develop a sense of his or her independence and confidence in a setting that encourages a sense of community. At the same time, we help your young child adapt to routines.
We plan your child’s activities based on a program grounded in early childhood fundamentals. Your child will increase their language ability, practice early counting skills, and learn to cooperate with friends through group activities. They will take on greater physical challenges and begin to communicate more effectively with adults.
Preschool Program
Any child four years’ old before December 1, 2024 is eligible for our Four-Year-Old Program.
Let us guide your young learner through the final stretch towards kindergarten! Four-year-olds can grasp simple math, verbally spell and print their names, and participate in show and tell. They’re eager to recall events from a story and describe details in a photo. We prepare children with lessons on letters and words, as well as math concepts and valuable social skills.
It’s not all work and no play! At Faith, we ensure there’s plenty of time for independent play, dance, and music, as well as small and large group activities. Children also have free-play opportunities to socialize and exercise their energetic bodies.
